Personalised settings are a great advantage.  If you have your address pre-loaded on your profile, you can save some time when it comes to making requests from Amazon (or other providers that need shipping addresses and are taken care of by us).  Currently, we fill some of your details automatically with a few tools such as Clearbit, who take that information from other providers.  However, it may not always be the case that the address taken by our system is the one you wish for your shippings.

If this is the case, and you wish to change your address, it is very easy to do so.  All you have to do is go to your personal settings, on your profile (which you can find on your profile or the side menu as "Settings"), and scroll down a bit until you see the address.  You will notice that you may not be able to change the city, state or country, but you can edit without a problem the field called "Address line 1".  If you add your address to this line, everything else will be updated and all that's left to do would be to save the changes.  

A few things to note:

  • We use Google Maps for accuracy: you will notice as you start adding your address that our app will give you some options to auto-complete it.  If you select the correct option, your address will be saved correctly.
  • Because we use Google Maps, you need be mindful that browser autocomplete will not work.  Instead, you want the options presented underneath, which will have all the information to fill the other spaces correctly.
